Board of Directors Meeting of the Leather and Footwear Development Center

The Board of Directors of the Leather and Footwear Products Development Center held at its headquarters a meeting of its Board of Directors in the presence of the President of the Center _ President of Palestine Polytechnic University, Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa, Vice President of the Center _ President of the Palestinian Leather Industries Federation Amer Arafa, Secretary of the Center _ representative of the cluster cluster for the leather and footwear industry, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Jaabari, representative of the Ministry of National Economy, M. Muhib Al-Jaabari and the Director of the Standards and Metrology Institution _ Hebron M. Ibrahim Jabarin, in the presence of Mr. Ashraf Al-Jaabari, board member of Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dr. Mohammad Abu Taha, Vice President of Palestine Polytechnic University for Community Service Affairs.  A tour of the center was conducted to view the latest developments and equipment, the center's work plan and some administrative affairs were discussed, and a plan to organize work with the competent ministries to activate the role of the center and push for the implementation of the mandatory technical instructions for footwear approved by the Council of Ministers since 2019.  The meeting highlighted the work of the research and development committee, through which issues related to the challenges facing the tanneries will be discussed.
