Hosting the Cluster for the Footwear and Leather Industry Delegation of the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy

The Chairman of the Hebron Leather and shoe cluster and the president of the Federation of Leather Industries, Mr. Amer Arafa, received in the presence of the President of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry- President of the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Mr. Abdo Idris, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy Mrs. Manal Farhan, Director General of Consumer Protection Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qadi and Director of the Economy Office in Hebron Eng. Mohib Jabari And the Director of the Office of the Palestinian Standards and Metrology institution in Hebron, Eng. Ibrahim Jabareen at the Center for the Development of Shoes and Leather Products.
During the meeting, they discussed the mechanisms of applying the mandatory technical instructions for shoes, which were approved by the Council of Ministers in 2020, as it aims to regulate the local shoe market. After that, a tour of the center was made and the attendees were introduced to its departments and services.
